About
With the pressures of school today, students and families are often overwhelmed by learning challenges. Sybille specializes in helping families unpack and face these challenges. She supports families in understanding how to empower their struggling students by optimizing the home environment for learning using research-based strategies. Sybille frequently works with learning issues including attention and executive function skills, as well as reading and writing development.
Sybille Bruun-Moss conducts research in Cognitive Science in Education at Teachers College (Columbia University) and has over a decade of experience in both public and independent NYC schools. With a background in special education, Sybille has served as Director of Learning Research at a NYC independent school, supporting families as they navigate the complexities of evaluations, disabilities, and support. Sybille grew up all over the world and, in a previous life, was a Shakespearean actor.
